GOD MADE GRASS, MAN MADE BOOZE
WHOM DO YOU TRUST?
Well, me personally speaking..
I haven't seen God as yet..so I would like to believe in man as for now.
WHAT DO YOU SAY?
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They wake up in the morning and that's the best they're going to feel all day.
As a child I always hated the fact that I would start drinking sometime later in life. There are times when I thought that if my parents came to know about it, I am dead !!
But things have rather changed.....Who doesn't wanna drink, especially after watching HANGOVER.
I remember the so called "GOOD GUYS", in school, who would look down and hate the students who would go drinking. I remember my school days..not many so called "Good Guys" during then but still..there were a few..who were there to look down upon us and our kind. But as they say "Change is always for the good"....Nowadays..every school goin nutjob drinks....Having or so called "GRABBING" a beer has become the first step towards socialising.
There was a time when alcohol was a taboo to us....dark and mysterious. But with time, well how can I put this conveniently, lets say we evolved. From a TABOO to a REFRESHER, the time span was really short. Drinking has become a form of competetion to decide the ultimate drunkard. Its a question of capacity and hence, prestige follows. If one says he's ten pegs down, the other has to make sure he surpasses that target.
What changes do you commonly see in people after they are drunk?
A person after the first few pegs becomes humble, polite and a series of etiquettes follow. The fellow mates are treated as family. Its fun if you too are drunk. But if not, believe me its terrible. Greetings and well wishes are exchanged. Also baseless apologies...
Then comes the next part or the POST-humble behaviour. That is usually attained after the next round of drinks. A great feeling envelopes you within itself. The world seems fun, everything feels fucking awesome. You become awesome. This is the first mistake. Well one gets detached from worldly things and seems to be on a fun spree. Overconfidence takes the better of you. Never let one drive or ride after a drinking session. Take a CAB.
Next comes the part when the friendly relations made during the first round of drinks seem a total waste and foul words are hurled at each other. And the best thing is...no one even gives a damn. Its all fun.
Then comes the dirtiest part of all..."THE MESSING N THE CLEANING UP" part. The cleaning up is usually done by the fellow mates of the one who made the mess. A person is generally drunk by this time. But don't make the mistake of questioning his capacity. I once did so. Challenged a friend if he could drink some more after a drinking fiesta. It was my bad. Not only did he gulp a few pegs more, but also started convincing me that drinking was an art and he was the master of it. In the process of convincing, not only did words but the alcohol he drank also poured out of his mouth. The ass puked!! All over me!
On a more serious note, won't say one shouldn't drink. I believe that is our birth right. But there are a few things to be kept in mind.
DRINK RESPONSIBLY. NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE.
CHEEEEERSS!!!!!
