Man Steals Car With Owner Riding On Hood

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Orlando man is facing charges Monday morning after police said he sped off in a stolen car while the owner was still on the hood.

Mazzard McMillian is charged with grand theft and attempted murder.

Police said the car's owner saw McMillian stealing the car and jumped on the hood.

McMillian took off and ended up hitting another vehicle at Orange Blossom Trail and West Central Boulevard, throwing the owner from the car.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
